Paul Pogba is set to leave Manchester United when his contract ends next month.

Famous journalist Fabrizio Romano claims

are planning for new direct contacts with

Paul Pogba’s

agents in the coming days.

Romano says Juventus's proposal is lower than Paris Saint-Germain but the Frenchman is tempted to return to Juventus.

Pimenta, a Brazilian lawyer, is currently looking after Pogba's interests after his former agent Mino Raiola died in April.

The Italian press has been reporting in recent days that the Bianconeri are preparing a contract for three years for Pogba. It would pay Pogba an annual salary of €7.5 million and would come with a roster of bonuses for the midfielder.

In 2012, Juventus signed Pogba and sold him back to

Manchester United

for £94.5m in 2016 after he flourished into one of Europe's best young stars. He helped them win the Serie A title in each of his four seasons in Italy between 2012 and 2016. Pogba since his return to Old Trafford has scored 39 goals in 226 games for the Red Devils.

The Times newspaper on Thursday claimed the 29 year old Pogba had agreed to personal terms on a shock move to Manchester City but two weeks ago he changed his mind for fear of facing fan backlash.
