The Dutchman will soon take over as the new Red Devils manager.
New
Manchester Unitedmanager Erik Ten Hag traveled to London yesterday to meet with club officials.
The 52-year-old head coach flew to London with Mitchell van der Gaag, one of his assistants at Old Trafford, and Steve McClaren, who will be a member of the technical staff. Today, a meeting will take place between the club's officials and the new coach, and plans will begin for a major change at Manchester United.
Ten Hag does not intend to distract Ralf Rangnick in his final match during Manchester United's interim manager against
Crystal Palace, so he does not intend to attend the game. Fans were hoping to meet their new manager for the first time in Selhurst Park.
Van der Gaag and McClaren were Sir Alex Ferguson's assistants at Manchester United from 1999 to 2001, and their presence alongside Ten Hag will help him a lot. The Dutch coach is expected to make major changes to the squad and make a number of acquisitions.
