Lukaku, Kovacic & Pulisic back for FA Cup final against Liverpool

Chelsea's Mateo Kovacic, Romelu Lukaku, and Christian Pulisic start the FA Cup final against Liverpool, while Kai Havertz is left out.

Mateo Kovacic has recovered from an ankle sprain to start for

in the

FA Cup

final on Saturday, while N'Golo Kante is on the reserve.

In the 3-0 win against Leeds United on Wednesday, Kovacic received a blow in the tackle that got Daniel James sent off at Elland Road, but the Croatian is in the starting lineup at Wembley Stadium.

Kante hasn't played since a 1-1 stalemate against Manchester United in April, but he'll be in the squad for the final.

Kai Havertz has been left off the team entirely, with Romelu Lukaku and Christian Pulisic continuing to play in attack.

Thiago Silva replaces Andreas Christensen in Thomas Tuchel's sole alteration from the midweek triumph.

Following Fabinho's ruling out with a hamstring strain sustained in Tuesday's win against Aston Villa, Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson appears likely to play the six role for Jurgen Klopp's squad.

Mohamed Salah comes back to the starting eleven after coming off the bench at Villa Park in search of his fourth goal in his 17th appearance since Liverpool's

final victory over Chelsea in February.

In attack, the Egyptian is joined by Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane, while Andrew Robertson replaces Kostas Tsimikas at left back.

In defense, Ibrahima Konate joins Virgil van Dijk, while Thiago Alcantara and Naby Keita form a three-man midfield with Henderson.
