Real Madrid

coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that

will play in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against

Manchester City

The 30-year-old Brazilian midfielder was absent from last night's match at the Etihad Stadium, and after Los Blancos' 4-3 defeat, his absence will be felt well in this match. Casemiro sat on the bench against Osasuna due to a muscle injury but could not prepare for the game against City. David Alaba was also injured during last night's match and will be replaced by Nacho.

Now Ancelotti confirmed that the Brazilian will play in their upcoming match against Man City. He said:

"Casemiro [will play], for sure. We will have to evaluate Alaba. He felt the discomfort of recent times and to avoid problems I have stopped him. I think they will both be ready for the second leg."

City performed well in last night's game and missed many opportunities. Ancelotti believes his team should not repeat a performance like last night at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Italian said:

"It is difficult for us to see a game like today's in the second leg again," he said. "City have an advantage, we have to take it into account but knowing that it is not a great advantage. We are going to fight for another magical night.

"We started very badly, too soft. We have conceded two goals and from then on, we have shown in recent times, a great capacity for reaction.

"We were in the game until the end, we competed. We have to defend better and with the ball we did well, with many opportunities. For the second leg, we have to defend better it is too important."
