Lazio 1-2 Milan: Dramatic comeback keeps Scudetto title race alive

AC Milan kept their Serie A hopes alive thanks to a dramatic goal in added time to engineer a 2-1 comeback win against Lazio.

table, two points clear of Inter, who have a game in hand. Lazio stays seventh on 56 points.

Italy striker Ciro Immobile poked home in the fourth minute to give Lazio the lead. Milan fired 12 shots on Lazio's goal in the first half but Immobile's early goal was the difference between these two teams. Lazio started the game well but after taking the lead they settled into a more defensive mode. Milan could not test the Lazio keeper too much.

early in the second half. Just when it seems Milan is going to drop costly points, Tonali breaks Lazio's resistance in the 92nd minute. Lazio's defender can't handle Rebic's cross well and Ibrahimovic nods the ball onto Tonali, who bundles it over the line past the keeper.

Milan beat Lazio 2-0 in the reverse fixture and now after this victory, this is the first time since 2009 they have managed to win both games against Lazio in the same league season.
