Bayer Leverkusen’s Wirtz sustains injury against Cologne
Bayer Leverkusen revealed that Florian Wirtz will be out for a couple of months after sustaining a ligament injury in their clash against Cologne.

Bayer Leverkusen’s 1-0 loss at the hands of Cologne in
Bundesligaon Sunday.
The youngster will probably be out of action for a few months after his MRI scan revealed that his left knee suffered an injury.
The 18-year-old twisted his ankle on the turf after 28 minutes from the start of the game.
Wirtz established himself as one of the highest-rated young players and many major clubs like
Bayern Munichand Liverpool are keen on acquiring his services.
He has four caps for Germany as he had his senior debut last September and would have been in contention to be part of the squad for the World Cup in 2022.
He met the back of the net 10 times and contributed 14 assists, having the most direct involvements in goal for players under the age of 21 in the top five leagues in Europe this season.
Leverkusen are sitting third in the Bundesliga table, with only one point in their advantage from Freiburg and Hoffenheim.
