Zidane on the lookout for France job amid links about him going to PSG

Despite rising speculations on taking over Paris Saint-Germain, former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is awaiting the France national team position.

Following his exit from Los Blancos in May 2021, the former Les Bleus international has been without a job.

If Mauricio Pochettino decides to leave the

Ligue 1

for Manchester United, the 49-year-old is rumored to be the club's favorite pick this summer.

Pochettino is under obligation until the conclusion of the 2022/23 season, but a comeback to the

Premier League

at Old Trafford might entice him.

Despite being offered a lucrative contract in Paris, Zidane is reportedly holding out for the top post in French football, according to

RMC Sport

Didier Deschamps

guided France to a World Cup triumph in 2018, but his existing deal expires after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Zidane has shown an interest in managing his nation in the future, but he will not seek to remove Deschamps before the World Cup.
