Pietro Pellegri

has been having a hard time with injuries in his six-month loan spell at the Rossoneri, featuring in six games.

Milan had an option to purchase him for €6m when the season ended but they tried to convince them for a lower fee in the winter transfer window.

They aimed to sign with him on a permanent deal and send him to Torino on loan until the season ends, but negotiations with Monaco collapsed and the Granata will acquire the striker on a loan deal from the French side.

In the contract, there is an option to buy for about €6m.

The Rossoneri penned with 18-year-old Marko Lazetic, who is going to be their third striker for the second part of the season.
