Udinese confirm Pablo Mari’s loan move to Arsenal

Udinese have announced that they have signed Pablo Mari on a loan deal with the Gunners.

The Bianconeri have stated that

made a move to

Udinese

on a loan deal until the season ends.

The 28-year-old will go back to

Arsenal

when the season ends as Udinese do not have a permanent signing option in the deal.

Mari made a move to Arsenal from Flamengo on a deal worth €6m deal in July 2020 but he has only featured in 22 matches with the Gunners.

Udinese are sitting 14th in the Serie A table, six points away from the relegation zone.

During 22 league games, they conceded 36 goals this season and dismissed coach Luca Gotti, assigning his assistant Gabriele Cioffi.

Udinese exited the Coppa Italia this week, being defeated 1-0 at the hands of

Lazio

Mari may have his debut for his new side on Saturday when Cioffi’ men went against Genoa at Marassi in an important clash.
