had the chance to double the lead for them in the 60th minute, but the Liverpool striker failed to finish the job following a mazy run, and
Amr El Soleya
also missed his chance to finish off Salah’s high-quality pass a few minutes after to keep the game 1-0.
Then Sudan had a chance to level the games, but
Mohamed El-Shenawy
saved
Mohamed Abdel Raman's
free-kick and got his head in the way of
Mustafa Karshoum's
follow-up.
