Brighton gained one point in their battle against the Blues on Tuesday, extending Thomas Tuchel's winless run in the Premier League to four games.

Chelsea

are having their first winless run of four games in the

Premier League

under the reign of

Thomas Tuchel

after being held to a 1-1 draw with

Brighton

on Tuesday.

Thomas Tuchel's side missed an opportunity to close their gap with Manchester City, who vanquished the European champions 1-0 on Saturday, extending their advantage to 13 points.

Hakim Ziyech put Chelsea ahead during the first half, but Brighton leveled the game in the 60th minute courtesy of Alexis Mac Allister's corner.

Despite efforts made by Romelu Lukaku to give them back the lead, Chelsea had to settle for one point.

However, they managed to defeat Tottenham in the EFL Cup semi-finals and vanquish Chesterfield in the FA Cup.

On the south coast, on the other hand, they could not bounce back from their loss at the hands of City.

Tuchel is frustrated with the displays of Chelsea's attackers this season, with Lukaku doing so little to appease him. Notwithstanding his two important passes, he only managed one on target.

Chelsea will face their former coach Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge when their side locks horns with Tottenham on Sunday, while Brighton takes on Leicester City.
