Barca fails to keep the lead against Granada

Barcelona failed to win the game that could have brought them to third place on the table.

Granada’s

late equalizer kept

Xavi

away from the possibility to reach third place in La Liga’s table in a situation that they are sitting sixth on the table even though they have lost only one game out of their 10 La Liga matches which shows that they have only managed to keep everything on an average level which can’t be even near satisfying to the supporters, and Xavi understands it although he acknowledges the club’s situation on and off the pitch especially in the financial part of the matter.

Barcelona

took the lead in the 57th minute of the game after a disappointing first-half performance, when

Luuk de Jong

found the net for the visitors, and they seemed like they could handle the pressure, and the fact that they had 65% of the possession in the match proves that they were close to sealing the victory, but

Gavi

was sent off by the referee in the 87th minute of the game, which turned everything around, and Granada used the opportunity to increase the pressure and it worked, and they managed to finish the game with a draw with

Antonio Puertas'

goal in the 89th minute.
