Depay & Dest return to Barcelona squad for Granada match

Both players have been sidelined since Barca's 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Depay was sidelined with a hamstring injury and recently tested positive for Covid-19. However, on Friday another Covid-19 test was performed on him and the result was declared negative so that he could go to Nuevo Los Carmenes with the team. Gavi and Alejandro Baldé have also recovered from Covid-19 and are both on Xavi's 23-man squad, playing for Barca for the first time in the new year.

But Depay's return was the most important news for Xavi. The Dutch star has had a direct impact on his side's 10 goals this season - 8 goals and 2 assists - which is twice as much as any other Barca player.

Barca, fifth in La Liga, have lost just once in their last nine games and have been unbeaten in their last five away games. They have won eight of their last 10 games against Granada and have scored at least three goals in their last four trips to Los Carmenes.
