Africa Cup of Nations capacity to be capped between 60 – 80 percent.

The Africa Cup of Nations organizers are determined to hold the tournament with maximum safety.

After a thorough discussion with the Cameroon government about the new surge of COVID-19 and needed measurements, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organizing Committee have decided to put the capacity cap of the Africa Cup of Nations between 60 to 80 percent.

The 80% cap will only be applied during Cameroon matches, and the rest of the games will be held with 60% capacity.

The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is set to kick off on January 9 where hosts,
