Milan to meet with Lille again over Botman’s signing

Notwithstanding receiving a negative answer and having to compete with Newcastle United, Milan are going to meet with Lille again over signing Sven Botman.

Lille

plan to cash in on

Sven Botman

and will accept offers around €30m in the winter transfer window.

The soon to be 22-year-old joined the club from

Ajax

in 2020 on a deal worth €8m and in 18 months, he was able to prove himself worthy of a tripled transfer value.

As per reports from

Sportitalia

transfer pundit Rudy Galetti, Milan are going to meet with Lille to negotiate his future.

Paolo Maldini is eyeing the centre-back as his first choice since the Rossoneri legend is well aware of his strong potentials as a defender.

This season, Botman has played in 16 games for LOSC, meeting the back of the net once and contributing one assist as well.

Newcastle United

are also interested in his services and are willing to spend big money on him, while Milan are negotiating to convince Lille to agree with a loan contract that includes an obligation to purchase.
