JUVENTUS’ PINSOGLIO AND ARTHUR test positive for COVID-19

Fri 31 December 2021 | 21:11

Juve duo Carlo Pinsoglio and Arthur have contracted the coronavirus and will soon start self-isolation.

Coronavirus newest variant, omicron, has caused a significant increase in the number of positive cases in European countries in recent days. France and Italy have the highest number of people infected with the coronavirus since the beginning of the global outbreak, and football squads have been no exception.

The Premier League has faced a series of postponements in recent weeks, and the virus has now reached Spain and Italy.

Earlier, Lazio's Ciro Immobile and Napoli's Victor Osimhen had tested positive for COVID-19, and

Juventus

also announced a few hours ago that Carlo Pinsoglio and Arthur have also contracted the virus and will soon start self-isolation.

The Bianconeri hopes the number of infected players won’t increase in the coming days, as Massimiliano Allegri’s side is in the race for a top-four finish and they have two important Serie A matches against

Napoli

and

Roma

Up ahead.
