Hamed's exclusion from Egypt squad in favor of Zamalek - Carteron
Tarek Hamed was removed from Egypt squad for the Africa Cup of Nations by order of Queiroz.

Tarek Hamedfrom the
Egyptian national teamroster, calling it in the club's favor.
Zamalek held the last match of the year against Ghazl El-Mahalla yesterday and managed to defeat the opponent 4-0. Egyptian League matches will be suspended for the time being due to the Africa Cup of Nations, and this postponement will continue until mid-February. Carteron expressed satisfaction with his team's performance and also said he is happy that Hamed had been removed from the Egyptian roster.
“I’m happy to end the year with the victory, and I’m satisfied with the performance. The result is good and it was a deserved victory and now Zamalek leads the standings, temporarily,” the Frenchman said in the post-match press conference.
“Achraf Bencharki is regaining his usual form. I felt that he could score in today’s match, which is what he did."
He added: “Abogabal is in the preliminary list of the Egyptian national team, and his participation today gives him a great opportunity to be in the final squad,” he explained
“I have a large list of players and I am keen to prepare them to participate at any time.
“It’s up to the technical staff, but it’s beneficial for Zamalek because he [Hamed] will give everything he has to his team,” he continued.
