The Blaugrana have linked Philippe Coutinho with two Premier League sides.
Philippe Coutinho
has not lived up to the expectations since his move to
Barcelonafrom
Liverpoolon a deal worth €130million in 2018.
The player has contributed to a Champions League victory since his move to Camp Nou, though that was out on loan at Bayern Munich, but Barca haven’t got much out of their investment.
Before the January transfer window, the Blaugrana are in need of money if they aim to strengthen their squad.
Since Coutinho will not impress and live up to those expectations, they plan on cashing in on him.
The Catalans have offered him to
Newcastle Unitedand
Tottenham, as per reports from the Daily Mail via
Mundo Deportivo
.
Newcastle have been taken over by new owners and have a lot of money, whereas the Spurs are unlikely to be able to afford that huge price tag in January.
Barcelona have yet to receive interest, however; waiting to sell Coutinho unless they agree to a reduced fee for the Brazilian.
