Nagelsmann hails Gnabry’s five-goal involvement against Stuttgart

The Germany forward helped Bayern thrash Stuttgart on Tuesday, scoring a hat-trick and contributing two assists during their 5-0 victory.

He scored the opener in the first half and doubled their lead after the break on Tuesday.

Gnabry was involved in five goals and it was his second time, with the last one coming in their thumping 7-2 win over Tottenham in 2019, when he found the net four times and contributed one assist.

game as a coach and delivered another victory, which has seen his side leading the table with nine points in their advantage.

The Bayern head coach said of Gnabry: "He is an outstanding player who is currently struggling with his back and therefore maybe gets a tad less minutes than he deserves.

"He did very, very well today."

Bayern Munich showed off a remarkable display, but Kingsley Coman sustained an apparent hamstring injury in the first half.

Nagelsmann said of the France winger: "

We don't have an exact diagnosis for him yet. It's a muscular issue. We're hoping that it's nothing serious."

Lewandowski’s brace has seen him level with Gerd Muller in terms of a record 41 goals in a year in Bundesliga.
