Pochettino will accept Man Utd offer tomorrow! - Neville

Mon 22 November 2021 | 11:35

The Argentine coach has been close to sat on the bench at Old Trafford many times.

Manchester United

legend Gary Neville believes that

Mauricio Pochettino

is interested in joining and coaching Manchester United.

Pochettino is currently in charge of

Paris Saint-Germain

and has a contract with the team until 2023, which also includes a one-year extension clause. Prior to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Pochettino was rumored to be at Old Trafford, and now that the Norwegian manager has been sacked, the rumors are back on track. Now Neville has claimed that Pochettino is still interested in staying at Old Trafford despite his contract with PSG.

"I think Mauricio Pochettino - although he'd never say it - would leave to come to Man Utd on a five-year deal tomorrow.

"He'd look at that group of players, he'd look at the club and he'd realise he'd probably be able to achieve more than he wants at Manchester United in terms of a project.

"At PSG you are on a season by season, 'you've got to win the Champions League or you're out', type of model.

"I don't think that suits Pochettino. I think he would absolutely come to Manchester United on a five-year deal, with backing behind him."
