Rebic to miss Fiorentina match after training injury
The Croatian star, who has been one of Milan's most influential players this season, will miss tomorrow night's match.
Reports from Italy indicate that
AC Milanstriker Ante Rebic is injured in today's training session and will not be able to accompany his team in tomorrow's match against
Fiorentina.
With 32 points and a lower goal difference than
Napoli, Milan are second in the Serie A table and have had a good season so far. The Rossoneri are hoping to maintain this good trend for the rest of the season, but now they have bad news. Rebic, who has been one of the key players in his team this season, suffered an injury in training this morning and will miss tomorrow's match against Fiorentina.
He was expected to be in the squad from the start, but an injury to him will force Stefano Pioli to make changes to the attack. Rafael Leao will probably replace Rabic in his team's attacking line.
The 28-year-old Rebic has made 11 appearances for Milan this season, scoring two goals and assisting two.
