Milan to call Yacine Adli back from Bordeaux loan

The Rossoneri might end Adli’s loan spell at the French side in the January transfer window.

Milan signed Bordeaux’s

Yacine Adli

on an €8m deal earlier this year. However, they decided to loan the player to his former club as they initially planned to integrate him into their next year’s squad.

Since then, Adli has continued to impress with his performances at the French side, further establishing himself as one of the best young midfielders of Ligue 1. The 21-year-old has featured in 13 league games, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

As Milan continue their efforts to win the

Serie A

title, they have reportedly decided to call Adli back to their squad in January. According to

La Gazzetta dello Sport

, Milan officials are convinced Adli has gained enough experience during his spell at

Bordeaux

. The club are keen to negotiate with the French side to end the 21-year-old’s loan deal.

The Rossoneri are desperate to deepen their squad’s depth for the second half of the season. Adli could be a fine addition to Milan’s squad as he can fill the backup role for Franck Kessie.
