Ten Hag wants to stay at Ajax despite Man Utd and Newcastle offer

Sun 14 November 2021 | 13:51

The Dutch coach has achieved very good results in the past seasons.

Ajax

boss Eric Ten Hag has emphasized that his future at the Dutch club will be decided.

Ten Hag, who has been in charge of Ajax since 2019, has performed very well with the team, winning two Dutch league titles and becoming one of the contenders for the Champions League. This good performance has prompted

Manchester United

to try to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and

Newcastle

, which was recently acquired by the Saudi Investment Fund. However, the Dutch coach is not interested in leaving the club.

Asked about his destination in future, Ten Hag said:

"I live in the present, so I find it hard to answer this. I always want to improve my team, and as long as I feel this motivation I want to keep going, if Ajax wants that too."

I am happy at Ajax. I can work there in a good way.

"The conditions and the climate are good. Good management and very nice staff, and not to forget I have a very good group of players, which is also flexible.''
