Dean Smith will sign a two and a half year deal with Norwich City.

After so many negotiations,

Norwich City

has finally reached an agreement with

Dean Smith

, and the reports suggest that Dean Smith will sign the deal in the next 24 hours.

Dean Smith has been the club’s first choice, but they had been negotiating with other options too, and now they have finally decided to hire Dean Smith as Daniel Farke’s replacement.

Daniel Farke was sacked after their victory over Brentford following his poor performance since the beginning of the season, leaving them at the bottom of the Premier League, gaining only five points in their first 11 games.

Dean Smith himself was dismissed one day after Farke departed from Norwich. Smith was dismissed after five consecutive defeats last of which was against Southampton, leaving Aston Villa just two points away from the drop zone.

Smith’s overall performance at Aston Villa, however, was impressive, leading his side to the first tier from Championship by winning in the playoffs in his first season as their manager, then he managed to sit in 17th place and then 11th place he also helped them reach the final of League Cup.

And this was what convinced the boar at Norwich to choose him over Chelsea’s former manager Frank Lampard.
