England’s Declan Rice has been pulled out from the squad due to flu.

Declan Rice

can’t be with England in their next World Cup qualifying game due to flue and considering his impressive performance in the Premier League, his absence can be bad news for England fans.

Rice has been showing some impressive performances scoring three goals and providing three assists for his teammates in all competitions and has been a regular starter for the Three Lions recently, but now England has confirmed that he will be unable to be with the national team for their upcoming games.

"Having been unable to train due to illness since reporting to St. George’s Park, the midfielder has returned to West Ham United and will play no part in the forthcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers,"

England confirmed

"No additions to the squad are planned at this moment in time."

The 22-year-old’s absence will probably give Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham or Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson a chance to play for England in midfield alongside Kalvin Phillips against Albania on Friday.

West Ham’s captain is not Gareth Southgate’s only absent star as they may be without

Luke Shaw

Mason Mount

too. Luke Shaw’s situation is still being assessed following a concussion that he picked during Manchester United’s clash against Manchester City, and Mason Mount is yet to be available following his dental surgery.

Marcus Rashford

is also unavailable for Gareth Southgate’s side as he keeps working on his recovery, and Emile Smith Rowe is going to fill his place.
