Wed 10 November 2021 | 13:05

Less than two months later, Al-Nassr fired their Portuguese coach.

Al-Nassr

coach Pedro Emmanuel was sacked by the club 41 days after taking over.

The Portuguese coach, who had history in Saudi Arabia and led Al-Taawon, returned to the league, but this time things did not go well for him. Emmanuel, 43, failed to win his team's three league games and their only victory was in the AFC Champions League.

Emmanuel leaves Al-Nassr as they are ranked ninth in the Saudi league, 13 points behind  Al-Ittihad Jeddah.

Emmanuel started coaching for Porto in 2009 and then coached for Academica, Arouca and Estoril in the Portuguese league. He also has coaching experience in Apollon, Limassol, Al-Taawon, Almeria and Al Ain.
