Lingard wants January exit from Man Utd
The English star is close to the exit doors of Old Trafford.
midfielder Jesse Lingard is reportedly set to leave the club in January.
Lingard's contract expires next summer and no renewal is expected until then. Lingard, who joined
West Hamon loan last season, performed well at London Stadium and was prevented from joining the Hammers by Manchester United in the summer.
It seems that the Red Devils intend to use Lingard this season with this decision, but he still does not have much opportunity. He has only played five times in the Premier League as a substitute and has played a total of 63 minutes. He was not used in the Champions League and was on the bench in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City by the Red Devils.
With the 2022 World Cup coming on, Lingard intends to have a place in the Three Lions' squad, so he wants to have more opportunities to play by leaving United in the winter. In the second half of last season, he scored 9 goals and 4 goals under David Moyes, and now many teams will want to hire him.
