Ansu Fati faces another injury

Sat 06 November 2021 | 21:50

Barcelona fans hear some bad news again as Fati leaves the game against Celta Vigo.

In

Barcelona’s

dark days, the bad news keeps following the Catalans as

Ansu Fati

gets substituted in the half-time in Barcelona’s 3-3 draw against Celta Vigo, where he scored his side’s opening game.

The Catalans’ young star scored their first goal in the first five minutes of the game, giving the fans some hope about a possible turn of events in the post-Koeman era, but his hamstring injury forced him off the pitch in a game that Barcelona failed to keep the three-goal lead that seemed promising at first.

Fati’s injury in his left hamstring will be assessed in the next few days, but it seems like a serious problem that could sideline the young star for a long time, and we have to see what happens to the player.

Besides Fati’s injury, the most concerning thing was Barcelona’s failure in keeping a three-goal lead against a team that they were expected to defeat easily, and Xavi, who will be at Camp Nou, seems to have a hard job taking the Catalans back to the form they had before Messi’s departure.

Now Barcelona has to fight against their poor form in the absence of most of their key players, including Gerard Pique, Sergio Aguero, Ousmane Dembele, Pedri, Sergi Roberto.
