Inter’s Dutch defender says that Inzaghi has changed their attacking style.

Stefan de Vrij

says that

Inter

has been playing a more aggressive kind of football since

Simone Inzaghi

has arrived, and insists that they can create more scoring opportunities than ever. Nerazzurri went through a lot of changes in their squad after winning the Serie A title, and now with Inzaghi’s arrival, they have shown so much ambition to keep winning titles.

“Now, we propose an attacking football. We press high, we create many opportunities,”

De Vrij said at a press conference.

“Maybe we still need to find some balance, but these are the things that have changed.”

“Many concepts have remained the same, as well as the formation,

“That doesn’t regard just the defense, but the whole team.”

The Dutchman has already worked with Simone Inzaghi while he was playing for Lazio and has talked about his experience of working with the manager, insisting that he likes playing under him at Inter, and says that his ultimate goal is to grow alongside the team and the manager.

“I felt good at Lazio and I’m happy he has arrived here now,”

De Vrij said.

“I feel good at Inter too, both with him and with his staff.

“And then the idea is to improve and grow together.”
