Coutinho has returned to the Catalans’ starting lineup after months.

Philippe Coutinho

has been included in

Ronald Koeman’s

starting lineup for

Barcelona’s

La Liga clash against

Granada

, and it will be his first start since December 2020. Many people would expect the Brazilian star to become an important part of the Catalans’ squad, but he hasn’t been able to prove himself since his return to Camp Nou.

Now he has been used as a starter in the Dutchman’s starting lineup, and mostly because of the fitness issues that have given Koeman a headache and has taken his options away.

Coutinho isn’t Barcelona’s only change since their Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich as Koeman has made three other changes sending Alex Balde and Sergino Dest into the game instead of Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba and also naming the Austrian star Yusuf Demir as a starter instead of Luuk de Jong.

Barcelona can reach at least fourth place on the La Liga table if they defeat their opponent tonight, and they are going to have Ter Stegen; Dest, Araujo, Garcia, Balde; Roberto, Busquets, De Jong; Coutinho, Memphis, Demir to do the task.
