The Nerazzurri defender is on the verge of signing a new long-term deal at San Siro.
Since his transfer fromSampdoria
in 2017, Milan Skriniar has established himself as a key player in Inter’s backline. The Serbian defender, who was linked with a move to Tottenham in the summer transfer window, is now close to signing a new deal at San Siro.
According to Italian broadcaster
, Skriniar is set to sign a new deal at Inter in the coming weeks. The new contract will reportedly see the Serbia international commit his future to the club until the end of June 2025. The player’s salary will also raise from €3 million per season to €4 million net plus bonuses.
After a summer of upheaval which saw Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi leave the Serie A champions, Inter are keen to extend the contracts of their key players as part of their future plans under Simone Inzaghi.
