Leroy Sane is looking to keep his form following a difficult 2020-21 season under Julian Nagelsmann.

After continuing his outstanding run for Bayern Munich with a strike and an assist in a 7-0 thrashing of

, Leroy Sane said he "just wants to keep going."

On Saturday, Sane scored a superb free-kick to put Bayern ahead, and the Germany winger then set up Joshua Kimmich to increase the advantage.

Serge Gnabry, Robert Lewandowski - for the 13th time in a Bundesliga home fixture - Kimmich, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting all found the net for Bayern, with Vasilios Lampropoulos putting the ball into their own net.

After a tough season last year, Sane aims to continue his great start to the season with Julian Nagelsmann at the helm.

"I always try to do my best," he told Bayern's official website.

"At the moment things are going very, very well. I just want to keep going. I played a good game today.

"Sure, there are still a few things that can be improved. The coach speaks about them and I will try to implement it in the next games."

Sane had five shots, which tied him with

for the most by any player on the field, and three of them were on target.

Bayern Munich won emphatically and went to the top of the

standings with 13 points from five fixtures.

"I am satisfied with the result, but also with the way it was done," Nagelsmann said.

"In the first ten minutes we still had a few problems. After that we got along very well. We had a good structure with the ball, we created a lot of opportunities.

"In the second half there was a point that we didn't get a goal, and we showed the greed as if we had zero. Overall it was a very good performance. We are happy with the result."
