Jules Kounde has demonstrated his class by making a significant contribution to a local Seville charity.
The defender has been in the news a lot in the last year or so, having had a good season last year and then been widely connected with a transfer away this summer.
Koundé's transfer to Sevilla was thwarted as
failed to meet Sevilla's asking price for their star center-back.
Meanwhile, Koundé has been displaying his professionalism off the field.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Frenchman committed last year to give €1,000 for each win Sevilla earned to establish a shelter for sick children and their families in the Seville district.
And after Sevilla set a new record for overall points inLa Liga
last season, having won 24 times, the 22-year-old kept his word, contributing a total of €24,000 to the charity.
The money was given to the
'El Gancho Infantil'
organization, which has also constructed play areas for children in abandoned Seville hospitals.
