Lionel Messi will experience his 150th UCL match in his full debut at Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG

will face

Club Brugge

in the Champions League, and

Mauricio Pochettino

has named

Lionel Messi

in his starting lineup, which means that Messi’s first start for the Parisians will be in his 150th Champions League experience.

The Argentinian superstar moved from

Barcelona

to Paris Saint-Germain in a shocking transfer and as a free agent, while all the fans were waiting to hear the news about Messi’s new contract at Camp Nou.

Now he has joined the Ligue 1 giants to be a part of their package of new players in a season that they have signed many high-profile stars from around Europe and have an interesting squad for any football fan to watch.

Although it is Messi’s first start for the Parisians, he already made his first appearance for Pochettino’s side when he came in as a substitute in their 2-0 win against Reims on August 29.

The 34-year-old Argentine international is going to play against the Belgian side for the first time, and he is also experiencing his first Champions League appearance with a team other than Barcelona after 149 games.
