The Nerazzurri midfielder is going to undergo his medicals with a Danish cardiologist next month, hoping to be able to continue his training.

Christian Eriksen

is in Milan and his family wants to see whether he can continue his career after his cardiac arrest during Denmark’s Euro 2020 clash.

The

Inter

midfielder collapsed in the clash against Finland and received CPR on the field before he was rushed to the hospital.

The doctors then announced that he suffered a cardiac arrest and they gave him a defibrillator, which may end his Serie A career if the situation is permanent.

According to

La Gazzetta dello Sport

, next month, he is going to undergo a check-up with the cardiologists who have been checking him since June.

The doctors are in touch with the Serie A side’s medical staff and in the meeting, it may be decided whether the Denmark international will continue his training.

Reports claim that he may resume his training individually, with the bicycle, which is Denmark’s natural process of ‘re-athletisation’, but should the defibrillator be there, Eriksen cannot feature in Italy.

The Danish star has attracted the attention of Ajax because of his current condition.
