face the fear of injury to their star Son Heung-min after he was ruled out of South Korea's latest World Cup qualifiers.
Son was in South Korea's lineup for their first World Cup qualifier against Iraq last week. The Tottenham star was also on his squad for the match against Lebanon, but suffered an injury in training on Monday and will not be able to accompany his team in this match.
The Korea Football Association's statement reads:
“Son felt discomfort in his right calf after training yesterday.
"Today he was undergoing a medical check, as a result of a test on a right calf muscle sprain.
"Therefore he was excluded from today's match for player protection."
Tottenham will face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday, and Nuno Espirito hopes the 29-year-old star will have no problem with the game. However, he is likely to miss the match and Tottenham fans are now hoping he can play for his side in the London derby against Chelsea on September 18.
