. The Colombian striker terminated his contract with Galatasaray on mutual consent and left the club.
Speculations suggested that he would return to La Liga and now Rayo Vallecano have pronounced his signing today.
Vallecano, who earned promotion back to La Liga when they won the Segunda Division play-offs, confirmed the signing of the 35-year-old.
They have yet to reveal the length of the contract but according to the reports, it will be a one-season deal.
