The young winger has failed to make his senior debut under Ronald Koeman.

Hiroki Abe

, who joined Barcelona from

Kashima Antlers

in 2019, might leave the Catalans this summer. The Japanese winger has failed to secure a place in Ronald Koeman’s lineup as he reaches his final stages of youth development in the B team.

According to

Mundo Deportivo

, Abe may not play for Barcelona again as he is determined to leave the club this summer. The Japan international, who has featured in 27 league matches for Barcelona B, is currently recovering from injury. However, with the youngster being keen to play first-team football, it is expected to see Abe move away from Camp Nou after his recovery.

Abe is reportedly interested in experiencing a new challenge as he has failed to adapt to Spanish football during his two-year stay at the Catalan side. The 22-year-old might have to wait until January to finalize his next transfer unless the club decides to part ways with him earlier.
