After suggestions that he could have tried to cross, Vinicius Junior insists he planned his second goal against Levante.

At Cuitat de Valencia, the Brazilian youngster came off the bench to strike two equalizers, ensuring

Real Madrid

came away with a draw.

The second goal occurred in the 85th minute, giving

Vinicius

a total of three goals in two substitute stints.

The second goal, a beautiful, volleyed finish in off the back post that nobody, including Levante goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez, expected, attracted the attention.

Some supporters have speculated that Vinicius may have intended to cross the ball after the goal.

On the other hand, the winger isn't buying it, claiming in a post-game interview that he meant to place the ball where he did.

He told Movistar: "Casemiro put me un with a good ball to make the goal. And with the second, I put it there with my toe. I continue to work to help the team."

Although satisfied with his goals, Vinicius was frustrated with the outcome against Levante.

He added: "For Madrid it is never a good point. We should continue working towards three (points)."
