Locatelli has signed a deal with Juventus that is worth €25m initially.

Juventus

has made the first big signing in the transfer market as

Manuel Locatelli

joined them with a contract that is worth €25m, and with add-ons, it can include another €12.5m. the contract commits the 23-year-old midfielder to the club for the next five years, and

Massimiliano Allegri

is going to plan on using the Italy international in his plans for the club following his return to Turin in May.

In Italy’s campaign in the Euro 2020, Locatelli appeared as one of Mancini’s key players playing five games in the competition, and his best game was against Switzerland, where he scored two goals proving himself as one of the high-quality players of the country.

Juventus’ vice president Pavel Nedved had talked about the club’s interest in signing the midfielder earlier this month, insisting that the club has made an appropriate offer for the player, and his intentions have been turned to action now.

Locatelli has been one of the most dangerous players in Serie A, having the second-best goals-per-90-minute ratio among the Italian players in the Euro 2020 after Matteo Pessina.
