Atalanta want to keep Inter-linked Zapata

Atalanta want to retain Duvan Zapata’s services, but he is keen on making a move to Inter, who are willing to offer €30m for the Colombian.

is eager to join Serie A champions Inter this summer.

Gian Piero Gasperini

wants the 30-year-old to stay but he is on the lookout for possible replacements for the striker.

The Colombia international, who was capped 23 times by his country, made a move to the Orobici on a loan deal in 2018 and made his contract permanent in 2020.

Inter eyed the former Napoli striker as

Romelu Lukaku

’s replacement but his deal is due to expire in 2023.

Edin Dzeko joined San Siro and Lazio’s Joaquin Correa is linked with the Beneamata, whereas Napoli do not like to lose their crucial players.

Reports suggest that Zapata, who met the back of the net 66 times in 130 matches for Atalanta, is not going to force his move but would love to join the Nerazzurri.
