The Blancos have issued a furious response to rumors around their interest in switching to a foreign league.

Being one of the main founders of the European Super League project, Real Madrid have experienced friction in their relationship with La Liga.

Mundo Deportivo

reported on Friday that Real Madrid officials are keen to add their club to the Premier League in the coming seasons.

The Spanish giants published an official statement on Sunday, rubbishing the claims of being linked with a Premier League switch.

"Given the information published today by the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, in which it says that our club studied the possibility of moving from La Liga to the Premier League, Real Madrid wants to assert that this information is completely false, absurd and impossible and it only intends to disturb, once more, the day to day of our club,"
