The Blues boss chose a goalkeeper and a striker from his former team stars for his current team.

Thomas Tuchel has selected the

legends he would like to see in his squad.

The Blues won the Champions League last season, and their 2021 team is emulating the 2012 team that made history with great players and won the club's first Champions League title. Now Tuchel has selected Didier Drogba and Petr Cech from the 2012 squad, claiming he would like them to be part of his current squad.

Asked about Chelsea legends he would like to have in his squad, he replied:

"Tough question!

"I work every day with Petr Cech and he’s great to have around, so I’ll choose Petr with all of his experience.

"He works here as a Technical Advisor but he also helps out sometimes with our goalkeepers and I think it would have been fun to have coached him as a player.

"I watched a documentary about him and Didier Drogba recently and both of them had such fantastic winning mentalities when they were playing, so focused and dedicated and for sure, they would be an asset to any team."
