Chiellini signed a contract with Juventus until 2023

The Italy international has penned a new contract that will keep him at Juventus until June 2023, allowing him to feature in the World Cup in 2022.

hit free agency on June 30, as he was grabbing the trophy at the Euro 2020.

However, he hadn’t signed a contract until this evening when he came back from his summer vacation with Leonardo Bonucci and their families.

His contract will keep him until 2023 as he wished to play in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which is due to start from November and December next year.

The Italy captain will become 37 next week and when his contract expires, he will be 39. The


defender’s salary is about €2.5m per season.

Chiellini made a move to the Bianconeri in 2005 and has contributed to nine consecutive Serie A title victories.
