The Manchester United star has been linked with a move to Parc des Princes in recent weeks.

Paul Pogba

is entering the final year of his current contract at Old Trafford. Since his big-money move from Juventus in 2016, the World Cup winner has not been able to maintain consistency with his performances for the Red Devils.

PSG have been mooted as a potential destination

for the player ahead of the next season as the English club are determined to avoid a free departure.

In a post-match interview after PSG’s 1-0 defeat against Lille on Sunday, Mauricio Pochettino was asked about his side’s potential move for Pogba.

"You see the list of the players that we have at home, we have plenty of players. Half of the squad is at home. A few are on holiday.”

the Argentinian manager told

"I think the performance was good, I am happy, and I don’t want to talk about names of players who are in other clubs."

Following their Trophee des Champions defeat against Lille, PSG will start their new Ligue 1 campaign with a match against

on August 7.
