Rangers draw Malmo in Champions League qualifier

Rangers will take on Malmo in the Champions League third qualifying round after the Swedes beat HJK Helsinki.

The Swedish champions claimed a dramatic 2-1 victory over Helsinki in the first leg thanks to goals by

Antonio Colak

and

Anders Christiansen

.

They secured a 2-2 draw in the second leg in the Finnish capital to go through 4-3 on aggregate.

Steven Gerrard’s men will face Malmo on 3 or 4 August in Sweden and will.

Rangers will face the Swedish champions on 3 or 4 August and will play the second leg at Ibrox on August 10.

The Scottish Champions have not made the group stages of the Champions League since 2010 and they are only four games away from reaching that goal.
