Barcelona and Neymar have finally ended their legal dispute after the Catalan club announced they have reached to an amicable out-of-court agreement with PSG star.

Neymar requested €46.3 million from the Catalan club, and they asked the Brazilian to pay €16.7 million for breach of contract.

A court in Catalonia ordered Neymar to pay his former club €6.7m after losing his case, but the Brazil international appealed and launched a new case against his former club.

However, this long-running process was concluded in a way that saw both parties remain friendly.

 "FC Barcelona announce that it has ended out of court in amicable fashion the various labor and civil litigation cases that were open with the Brazilian player Neymar," read the statement.

"As such, a transactional agreement between the club and the player has been signed to end the legal cases that were pending between the two parties."
