Inter offered terms for signing Ajax goalkeeper Onana

The Nerazzurri have taken an interest in the Ajax goalkeeper and are aiming to get his signature this week.

’s long-term replacement. They will meet with the

Ajax

shot-stopper’s representative Albert Botiles to discuss their offer and hopefully acquire his services.

Onana has pulled off a great display in Amsterdam and contributed to Ajax’s Eredivisie title win last season, but his contract is due to expire in a year and the Nerazzurri are keen on convincing him to pen a contract.

The 25-year-old has played for Ajax for his entire career but he is eager to take on a new challenge and depart this summer, having previously attracted the attention of

Lyon

and

Arsenal

.

Onana failed a drug test in October 2020 and is serving a nine-month doping ban imposed by FIFA in February. He will be able to play again in November.
