Milan raised the offer for Kessié and eye on Borussia Dortmund’s star

Milan is ready to negotiate a contract extension for Franck Kessié while looking for a replacement for Calhanoglu in Germany.

’s contract expires next summer and Milan do not want to lose him as a free agent like Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will meet the player’s representatives next week, but the Rossoneri have already increased their contract offer to €5.5m plus add-ons to potentially reach €6m-a-year.

Kessié’s current contract is € 2.2 million per year, and the player is said to have asked for an annual salary of € 7 million.

At the same time, Milan are still looking for a new attacking midfielder who could potentially replace Hakan Chalahanoglu.

The pink paper suggests Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt is on Milan's radars. The Rossoneri want to sign the player on loan with an option to buy.
