The Rossoneri midfielder has been linked with a move away from San Siro in recent weeks.

Following the

free departure of Georginio Wijnaldum

, who joined PSG earlier this month, Liverpool are monitoring the market to find a replacement for the Dutchman.

According to

Gazzetta dello Sport

, the Reds are interested in a summer move for AC Milan’s

Franck Kessie

. The 24-year-old has 12 months left on his current contract and might be available in a cut-price deal ahead of the next season. Kessie, who is reportedly unhappy with his current situation at San Siro, might push for a move away from the Italian side before the end of his contract.

Since his move from Atalanta in 2017, Kessie has featured in 184 games for Milan. The Ivorian midfielder made 37 appearances for Stefano Pioli’s side last season, scoring 13 goals and providing 4 assists.
